Founded by Erich Schaefer, a second-generation builder, Schaefer Custom Homes was born from a vision to provide the most seamless custom home experience possible. A graduate of Cal Poly, Erich holds a degree in business, is an accomplished pilot and a long-term resident of the Central Coast. Being a contractor meant he learned every aspect of building homes from the design phase to key handover.
